Copper nickel tee is designed for branch connections in copper nickel piping systems. It allows fluid to be divided or combined between the main pipeline and branch pipeline. Due to the excellent seawater corrosion resistance of copper nickel alloys, copper nickel tees are widely used in marine and offshore piping systems where long service life and stable performance are required. It is widely used in shipbuilding, offshore platforms, desalination plants, seawater cooling systems, fire water systems, ballast water systems and heat exchanger pipelines.

Copper nickel alloys can form a protective film in seawater, helping reduce corrosion, erosion corrosion and biofouling. Copper nickel tees also offer good weldability and fabrication performance, making them suitable for shipbuilding installation, offshore modules and prefabricated pipe spool systems. Copper nickel tees can be supplied together with copper nickel pipes, elbows, reducers, flanges, stub ends and other fittings to provide a complete marine copper nickel piping solution.

We supply copper nickel tees in 90/10 copper nickel C70600 / CuNi10Fe1Mn and 70/30 copper nickel C71500 / CuNi30Mn1Fe materials. Available types include copper nickel equal tees, copper nickel reducing tees, butt weld tees and custom fabricated tees according to project drawings.

Copper Nickel Equal Tee VS Reducing Tee

Copper Nickel Equal Tee

Copper nickel equal tee has the same diameter at all three ends. It is used when the branch pipeline has the same size as the main pipeline. Equal tees are commonly used in marine seawater cooling, fire water and ballast water piping systems.

Copper Nickel Reducing Tee

Copper nickel reducing tee has a smaller branch size compared with the main pipeline. It is used when the pipe system requires a branch connection with reduced flow capacity or smaller pipeline size. Reducing tees are commonly used in shipbuilding and offshore piping arrangements where different pipe sizes are connected.
