C70600 ( CuNi 90/10 ) Tee Manufacturer

As a professional manufacturer of marine-grade copper-nickel pipe fittings, Haomei Aluminum specializes in C70600 (CuNi 90/10) butt-weld tees. These products are widely used globally in marine seawater piping systems, cooling systems for offshore platforms, and seawater circuits in coastal power plants. They serve as critical, pressure-resistant, and corrosion-resistant components for the branching or merging of flows within seawater piping networks.

C70600 copper-nickel tees are categorized into two main types based on their structure and function, catering to diverse piping layout requirements.

Equal tees feature three ports with identical nominal diameters and consistent wall thickness across both the main run and the branch, ensuring uniform fluid distribution and symmetrical stress—ideal for applications such as fire-fighting loops or parallel piping circuits of the same diameter.

Reducing tees feature different diameters for the main run and the branch; typically designed to transition from a larger pipe to a smaller one, they can also be customized with various port-size combinations. These are commonly used for branching equipment supply lines from main cooling headers or for extracting instrument sampling lines from main pipelines.

Copper nickel tees covers sizes from NPS 1/2" to NPS 12" (DN15 to DN300) with wall thickness schedules of SCH40 and SCH80. We also offer customization for non-standard diameters and wall thicknesses. All products strictly adhere to the ASME B16.9 standard for factory-made wrought butt-welding fittings, and the raw materials comply with the ASTM B466 specification for seamless copper-nickel pipes.

The CuNi tee fittings are manufactured using C70600 copper-nickel alloy—sourced from the same heat as the seamless pipes—ensuring precise control over chemical composition: 9.0%–11.0% nickel, 1.0%–1.8% iron, and ≤1.0% manganese, with strict limits on impurity elements. They are produced via an integrated hot-pressing and expansion process, featuring localized thickening at the branch base and a wall-thinning rate of less than 10% on the back side. This process ensures a continuous, unbroken metal grain flow, eliminating stress concentration defects. In their annealed state, the finished products exhibit a tensile strength of ≥275 MPa, a yield strength of ≥105 MPa, and an elongation of ≥30%, meeting the pressure-bearing requirements for marine piping systems. Drawing on extensive experience in the offshore industry, we have optimized the internal transition radii to mitigate erosion—a common failure point in branch connections—thereby reducing localized turbulent erosion and extending the overall service life of the piping junction. In seawater environments, the copper nickel tee surface develops a dense passivation film, resulting in an annual corrosion rate of less than 0.02 mm. Furthermore, the material possesses inherent resistance to marine biofouling, ensuring a stable internal flow diameter during long-term operation.

Haomei C70600 tees has received factory approval from major classification societies, including DNV, ABS, and CCS. Each batch is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate, and 3.2-level certificates are available upon request for third-party witnessed inspections. Before leaving the factory, every single unit undergoes dimensional tolerance verification, liquid penetrant testing, and hydrostatic testing. For critical batches, additional intergranular corrosion testing and spectral analysis of chemical composition are performed to ensure that all delivered products meet project compliance requirements.

As a C70600 ( CuNi 90/10 ) tee manufacturer, Haomei maintains a regular stock of standard specifications, supporting both rapid delivery of small-batch orders and full-container shipments. We also offer a comprehensive range of compatible piping components—including copper-nickel pipes, elbows, and flanges—providing a one-stop procurement solution for seawater piping systems.
