Marine Grade Aluminium Hollow Bar

As a company deeply rooted in the aluminum processing and export sector for many years, we consistently adhere to the stringent standards of the shipbuilding industry in manufacturing marine grade aluminium hollow bars. With precise alloy proportions, comprehensive specification coverage, and excellent adaptability to marine environments, we have become the preferred supplier for numerous shipbuilding companies worldwide. Our products focus on the lightweight and durability requirements of ships, forming core advantages in alloy selection, structural design, and performance optimization, comprehensively meeting the structural and functional needs of various ships and marine engineering projects.

Regarding alloy selection, we uphold the bottom line of marine grade quality, primarily using two high corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy grades: 5059 and 5086, both conforming to GB/T 26006 and EN 755 international standards.

5059 aluminum alloy contains 4.8%-5.5% magnesium and 0.5%-1.0% manganese, possessing both ultra-high strength and resistance to exfoliation corrosion, making it suitable for heavy-duty ship structures.

5086 aluminum alloy contains 3.5%-4.5% magnesium, with an elongation of up to 18%, excellent weldability, and is suitable for complex forming processes.

Both them are certified by international classification societies such as CCS, ABS, BV, LR and DNV. After anodizing, they can serve for extended periods in high-salt-spray and humid environments, effectively resisting seawater corrosion.

We offer a full range of aluminium hollow bars in round, square, and rectangular shapes, covering mainstream industry needs and supporting customization to precisely fit different ship structural scenarios:

- Round hollow bars(round tube/pipe):

Outer diameter 15mm-400mm, wall thickness 2mm-50mm, maximum diameter up to 250mm in T6 condition, uniform pressure distribution, suitable for ship piping systems.

- Square hollow bars(square tube):

Side length 10mm-220mm, inner corners are rounded, dimensional deviation controlled within ±0.3mm-±1.7mm, convenient and efficient assembly and fixing.

- Rectangular hollow bars:

Width 10mm-600mm, thickness 2mm-240mm, excellent flatness, suitable for hull frames and decorative structures.

All product lengths can be cut to order, with a maximum length of 6 meters, meeting the differentiated needs of different shipbuilding processes.

Marine grade aluminium hollow bar precisely addresses the core pain points of the shipbuilding industry: lightweight design, weather resistance, and ease of processing, offering significant advantages:

- Extreme Lightweighting:

With a density only 1/3 that of steel, it can reduce hull weight by over 20% while maintaining the same strength, significantly improving the ship's range and navigation efficiency.

- Excellent Machinability:

Easy to cut, weld, and bend, it can precisely adapt to the processing of complex hull structures, effectively shortening the shipbuilding cycle and reducing construction costs.

- High Thermal Conductivity:

It can quickly conduct heat from ship equipment operation, preventing localized overheating and ensuring safe and stable navigation.

- Strong Impact Resistance:

It can withstand the impact of ocean waves and ship vibrations, and combined with the high corrosion-resistant alloy properties, it extends service life.

The core advantages of our marine grade aluminium hollow bar products address the pain points of the shipbuilding industry: Significantly lightweight, with a density only one-third that of steel, reducing hull weight by over 20% while maintaining the same strength, thus improving vessel endurance; excellent machinability, easy to cut, weld, and bend, allowing for precise adaptation to complex hull structures and shortening shipbuilding cycles; excellent thermal conductivity, efficiently transferring heat from hull equipment to ensure navigational safety; and high impact resistance, withstanding ocean waves and ship vibrations.

Applications cover the entire shipbuilding industry chain.

Round aluminum hollow bars are primarily used for seawater cooling pipes, ventilation ducts, and hydraulic system piping.

Square hollow bars are suitable for cabin columns, handrail frames, and equipment supports;

Rectangular hollow bars are widely used in hull side beams, deck railings, and cabin partitions.

Our marine grade aluminium hollow bar products have been successfully integrated into projects involving bulk carriers, container ships, yachts, and offshore platforms, and exported to Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, winning global customer recognition for their stable quality. We can provide a complete set of quality inspection reports and certification documents, ensuring comprehensive logistics and after-sales technical support, helping customers create high-quality ship products.
